What is CBD?
CBD, or cannabidiol, is a non-psychotoxic component of cannabis and/or agricultural hemp that is known for its great therapeutic potential. It works with the body’s Endocannabinoid system (ECS) and assists with creating balance in both human and animal health. Enliven Essentials uses CBD in the form of an oil extract as an ingredient in the Enliven product line.
In order to stay compliant with FDA standards, Enliven does not make any medical claims as we are not doctors / physicians. There is a large amount of scientific research on CBD and the ECS system as well as journal entries from many different pilot studies done by doctors from around the world over the past four decades. We encourage you to do your research and also talk with your physician or health & wellness care practitioner about CBD. There are many online sources for information, but please be reminded that the Internet will have a mix of both valid and misleading information. We encourage you to also vet your sources to make sure they are reputable.

Will Enliven CBD products make me high?
Enliven CBD oil is derived from naturally-cultivated, food-grade hemp plants that have high levels of CBD and only trace amounts (less than 1%) of THC. THC is the component of cannabis that gives you a head “high.” With the Enliven product line, the primary focus is the therapeutic benefit that you receive from CBD. Enliven is the CBD source for you when you do not want to get “high” but want to experience the balance that CBD creates.
Is it legal to sell hemp-derived products?
Products that are manufactured from agricultural hemp, which contain less than 0.3% THC in dry weight, are exempt from the Federal Controlled Substances Act, therefore are currently not unlawful for distribution. Enliven is happy to provide a signed legal opinion to those who are interested in learning more.
Is Enliven CBD safe?
There are many sources for CBD on the market. It is important to make sure you are purchasing CBD from a reliable source.
We have high standards here at Enliven and strive to ensure the quality and safety of our CBD ingredient. All of the CBD oil we use is validated through third-party lab testing that analyzes the CBD to ensure each batch of oil is free of pesticides, fungicides, plant growth regulators, residual solvents and other microbiological contamination.
Enliven is also happy to provide the results of these lab tests. If you do purchase CBD elsewhere, be sure to ask those companies for the same information. Transparency is key!
