Common Questions

No way! CBD oil is completely different cannabinoid from THC. When extracted from hemp plants it contains almost no THC....less than 0.03 percent in fact, making it impossible for anyone (including your pet) to feel high when using it.

Cannabidiol (CBD), is a promising phytocannabinoid or naturally occurring cannaboid found in cannabis and/or industrial hemp. It works with the body's Endocannabinoid system (ECS) and assists with creating balance in both human and animal health.

Simply put, it means it doesn't just contain CBD but also all the other great Cannabinoids and fatty acids from the hemp plant.

Explained a little more

Phytocannabinoids refer to any cannabinoid that is naturally occurring within the cannabis family of plants. CBD is one cannabinoid among over 100 different cannabinoids found in high-CBD hemp and cannabis. A full spectrum phytocannabinoid profile or 'full spectrum extract' is an extraction of all the plant's cannabinoids and terpenes together. Enliven Essentials chooses to create all our products with full-spectrum hemp oil, which includes all of the cannabinoids found in the plant, so you don’t miss out on any of the great benefits. We then focus on High CBD infusion for maximum benefit from this great cannabinoid.

First is because all our products are have clearly labeled packaging indicating all necessary information about our products. We also offer independent third-party lab reports for all of our products so that consumers know exactly what’s in the bottle. Lastly, we are real people here to answer any questions you have. Just call or text us.

Although it is very unlikely to test positive for THC from our products, we recommend that those who are required not to fail a drug test, should avoid all hemp-derived products as they are not completely free of THC.

There are many sources for Hemp CBD on the market. It is important to make sure you are purchasing Hemp CBD from a reliable source.  We have high standards here at Enliven and strive to ensure the quality and safety of our Hemp CBD.  All of the Hemp CBD oil we use is validated through third-party lab testing that analyzes the Hemp CBD to ensure each batch of oil is free of pesticides, fungicides, plant growth regulators, residual solvents and other microbiological contamination.

Enliven is also happy to provide the results of these lab tests.  If you do purchase Hemp CBD elsewhere, be sure to ask those companies for the same information. Transparency is key!

Everyone is different. We would suggest reading this article How to use CBD

Our source of hemp is grown in Europe, using EU certified hemp seeds. Additionally, the best CBD oil is extracted with a process called supercritical CO2 extraction which retains all of the naturally occurring beneficial molecules found in the hemp plant.

Our Full-Spectrum  oil Formula  contain between 24% – 26% CBD. And the rest is other cannaboids, Fatty acids and terpenes.

We ship to all 50 U.S. states

Products that are manufactured from agricultural hemp, which contain less than 0.3% THC in dry weight, are exempt from the Federal Controlled Substances Act, therefore are currently not unlawful for sale.

Due to DSHEA guidelines, we cannot specifically state conditions CBD may affect. We encourage you to do your own research, consult with doctors, and use PubMed.gov as a resource as newly published research is being published all the time. But more research is needed to provide structure/function claims associated with taking CBD oil.  We encourage you to talk to your doctor first before starting any new nutritional and dietary supplement regimen. The beneficial elements of hemp extract are called cannabinoids. They interact with your body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS), which helps regulate your body and maintain homeostasis. Your ECS parallels how your nervous system handles neurotransmitters like serotonin or dopamine. There are dedicated receptors for cannabinoids, and your body actually makes its own. Phytocannabinoids – or the cannabinoids found in plants like hemp – can give your ECS a boost.

Cannabidiol is one of many cannabinoids contained in the hemp plant and using full-spectrum oil containing all cannabinoids  allows all of those cannabinoids to work together in what is known as the “entourage effect or"whole plant effect"

The first thing you should know is that Hemp is not the same thing as marijuana. Hemp is typically tall, bamboo like, thick stocks, very thin leaves, and little to no flowers. They also contain almost no THC. Marijuana plants tend to be shorter plants and are grown for their flowers and typically contain high percentages of THC. Enliven’s hemp products are made from hemp plants bred for high levels of CBD and low levels of THC. That means you get all the benefits without the psychoactive effect.

Hempseed oil is manufactured from hemp seeds, and contains low concentrations of cannabinoids to none. It is used for a variety of things such as: beauty products, lubricants, paints, and as a food.Hemp oil is an extraction from the agricultural hemp aerial plant parts. This oil may contain higher concentrations phytocannabinoids such as CBD.

PubMed

Many of the results of the studies done by doctors and scientists over the past several decades can be found in medical and science journals by visiting pubmed.gov where you can find lots of resources that focus on CBD.  PubMed is a free online database created by the US National Library of Medicine for National Institutes of Health.

Simply type in CBD into the PubMed search field just to keep up with the research that is happening daily.  You can also be very specific and type in an actual ailment + cbd to pull up studies that have been done with CBD and certain diseases (example:  epilepsy cbd, parkinson's cbd, cbd arthritis, cbd alzheimers)

Dr. Sanjay Gupta (Neurosurgeon and Chief Medical Correspondent for CNN) has a series of documentaries ---  WEED 1, WEED 2 and the most recent that launched last month was WEED 3. These all aired on CNN.
Here is a link to the latest release WEED 3 (click here to view) These documentaries are very informative and show the progress being made in cannabis research as Dr. Sanjay Gupta was COMPLETELY against the idea of anything Cannabis-related a few years back.  He continued his research and has since given a public apology for forming an opinion without doing enough research on the subject.

A study from Israel has documented the superior therapeutic properties of whole plant CBD-rich cannabis extract as compared to single-molecule cannabidiol (CBD). http://file.scirp.org/pdf/PP_2015021016351567.pdfOther Links.
