Vaping has become a popular pastime for people across the country. Vape pens are simple, subtle, and easy to use. So why not harness this trend to add a healthy supplement to your life? Cannabidiol (CBD) – also known as hemp extract – has been shown to have a wide range of benefits, from better sleep and reduced anxiety to diminished pain and inflammation. For those new to hemp extract, it can be hard to know how to add the cannabinoid to your health routine. There are several methods of delivery to choose from, and each interacts with your body in a slightly different way. Vaping, however, is one of the easiest and most effective ways to experience the benefits of CBD. Enliven Essentials now offers a vape cartridge pre-loaded with all-natural, full-spectrum hemp extract to get CBD into the hands of those who could use it most. Read on to learn more about vaping and shop Enliven Essentials today to find the hemp extract products that work for you!
A Fast Delivery Method
One of the biggest advantages of vaping is that it is one of the fastest ways to experience the effects of hemp extract. Your lungs provide a large surface area through which CBD can be absorbed directly into your bloodstream. You can feel the benefits within minutes. If you try other delivery methods like ingesting hemp extract or massaging topical CBD into your skin, it will take much longer to feel the effects. Any hemp extract you eat or drink goes through a process called “first-pass metabolism” in the digestive system, and that CBD loses much of its efficacy. The effects of topical CBD can be long-lasting, but the CBD in the lotion or balm never enters your bloodstream, which is one of the reasons why it can take hours before you feel the effects. If you want near-instant relief from pain, anxiety, and other uncomfortable symptoms, then vaping CBD is probably the best choice for you.
Easy to Use
Another reason that vaping has grown so much in popularity is because vape pens are simple, portable, and convenient. They can look like cigarettes, ink pens, or even flash drives, making them a discreet way to add hemp extract to your life. They also offer an easy way to adjust your dosage of CBD — simply take another puff or two if you aren’t feeling the effects.
Make It A Healthy Habit
Vaping is often advertised as a healthier alternative to smoking, since there is no actual smoke. However, most e-liquids still contain nicotine. Vaping can be addictive, but with Enliven Essential’s pre-loaded vape cartridges, you can use that habit to add a healthy, natural supplement into your life. Our hemp extract e-liquid doesn’t contain any nicotine, so it is not addictive. We only use full-spectrum hemp extract, which includes not only therapeutic CBD, but also other vitamins, minerals, and terpenes found in the hemp plant.
Choose Your Device Carefully
It’s important to understand that not all vape pens are made equal. If you use our hemp extract e-liquid with other devices, be careful. Not all vape pens are truly “vaporizers,” and the heating element may smolder, which is a process similar to burning and can produce negative effects similar to smoking. If you vape typical e-liquids made by other companies, you should also keep in mind that high-voltage heat can make some compounds or flavorings dangerous to your health. Enliven Essential’s hemp extract e-liquid is quality tested and unflavored to ensure that it is safe to use.
If you have been looking for an easy and fast way to enjoy the benefits of hemp extract, then vaping might be for you. The CBD is absorbed through your lungs and into your bloodstream so you feel the effects within minutes, unlike other delivery methods like ingestion or topical application. It also comes in a simple, portable vape pen that is inconspicuous and easy to use. Vaping CBD is a great way for beginners to make hemp extract a part of a healthy lifestyle. Cannabis has a long history in the United States. Over the centuries, it’s been used as food, clothing, a topical treatment, and more. In many states – 29 states as of March 2018 – the medicinal use of cannabis is legal. Nine states even allow its use recreationally. But the reason cannabis is such a divisive topic for federal and state legislators is because it contains THC. Hemp, on the other hand, is much more accepted. In fact, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is currently pushing a bill to legalize it on a federal level. This is because hemp has many uses and has far larger concentrations of the beneficial substance CBD rather than THC.
The Department of Justice and the Drug Enforcement Agency do not treat CBD the same as THC, the cannabis plant’s psychoactive component. The possession and usage of CBD-based products aren’t prosecuted like THC-based products because it is not psychoactive. Continue reading to learn more about what separates CBD from THC and why the federal government made this decision.

What is Hemp Extract?
Hemp extract is a natural substance found in hemp. It contains high levels of cannabidiol (CBD), which is a safe and legal supplement that has been proven to have a positive impact on human health, most prominently in cases of severe epilepsy. It has properties that can help relieve anxiety, inflammation, nausea, and more. You can find thousands of testaments online to its effectiveness in treating a range of problems, from sleep issues to chronic pain. Hemp extract is emerging as one of the most exciting natural alternatives used to treat a wide range of common conditions, and for good reason. Until recently, it was the psychoactive component of hemp, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), that received all of the attention for its medicinal benefits, as well as its ability to produce mind-altering effects. However, with medical marijuana sweeping the country, researchers have begun to discover the amazing properties of many different cannabinoids found within the hemp plant.
Benefits of Hemp Extract
What makes hemp extract so special? Let’s examine the research: according to the National Institute of Health (NIH), cannabidiol or hemp extract “is the major non-psychoactive component of Cannabis sativa,”1 and it is one of over 80 naturally occurring compounds called cannabinoids found in hemp plants. Hemp extract cannabinoids have anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antispasmodic properties, and also enhance circulation and promote cellular regeneration2. Due to its wide variety of medical benefits, hemp extract is used to treat a number of common conditions including: chronic pain, inflammation, seizures, insomnia, spasms, multiple sclerosis, and mental disorders such as anxiety and depression. As a topical agent, hemp extract oil can also be directly applied to certain areas of the body as an effective means of relieving pain and soreness, reducing inflammation, and soothing inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis, dermatitis, and eczema.
The hemp industry went into a slight frenzy on December 14, 2016 when the DEA issued a final ruling about the coding of marijuana extracts. Many people, including mainstream media outlets, went around proclaiming even hemp-derived hemp extract was now illegal as a Schedule I substance. Not only is this false, it is wrong to misinform people about the safest “drug” we know of, which can be accessed in all 50 states. Hemp extract is non-psychoactive, non-addictive, natural, and legal!
We believe the DEA ruling was not directed at hemp-derived hemp extract, but was just an administrative action related to record keeping for the marijuana industry.
Hemp-derived hemp extract is still legal. Sec. 7606 of the Farm Bill defines hemp as distinct from marijuana and does not treat it as a controlled substance when grown under a compliant state program.
For more information and legal opinions on the matter, please read the Hemp Industries Association’s article on the legal status of CBD and hemp extract.
